Artist's Comments

Go ahead and have a laugh.
Life's not b&w, you know?

I must say that I'm thrilled that I've got a Daily Deviation.
As some of you may know, I only have around a year and a half of photographing experience so this means that I'm on the right track, I suppose.

"My Kingdom for a donkey" was shot in my hometown holiday, so it's part of those pictures I referred in the later journal. I went with my girlfriend Ana to the Castle, where everything was going to start.
And when we got there and sat to see what was going around, we've seen this man and his donkey.
We've approach him and I saw this lovely scene.
The man has such a funny face and the donkey was laughing for the crowd, who were there simply enjoying this funny 4-legged fella.
I took about 5 shots while smiling and went on with my life.
I knew they were good photographs, but I've never thought this one was going to be so much loved.

I wish to thank ^Obsidian-Fox for featuring and ~OnlyLev for suggesting my picture.
I wish to thank all the people that took the photographs that I've spent the afternoon in that day, before I went there to shoot this holiday, for the inspiration.
I want to thank all the people who say that these was fully deserved and to all the people who actually said they felt inspired by me.
And I want to personally thank my girlfriend for being my number one fan and supporter. She's the one who needs to stand my obsession of photograph everything for hours. Since she is my muse, I own Her everything! =)

Hope you stick around,
Pedro Ribeiro

My Kingdom for a donkey by ~methodAVANTGARDE I love how all the people in the BG seem to be smiling for the camera, and the donkey is just playing it up for the crowd, yet the owner doesn't seem pleased. Great shot capturing a scene at its most natural .. Grinning Donkey aside.. (Suggested by ~OnlyLev and Featured by `Obsidian-Fox)

Absolutely love this shot. All the incredible details. The donkey's reaction, the man's expression, the crowd in the background. So surreal.

Superb capture.

:+fav: and of course, suggested for a DD.
